Public Appearances + Speaking Engagements

The Khalid Jabara Foundation is a small, family-run charity based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, that is housed within a reputable 501(c)3 umbrella organization. Everyone involved with the organization is a family or community volunteer. And while we are committed to doing our part to reform a broken system through public appearances and speaking engagements, our budget is also very modest.

Accordingly, we ask that: (1) for-profit businesses, (2) academic institutions, and (3) large non-profits that invite us to speaking engagements provide an honorarium. If travel is required, we also ask that they pay for travel and accommodation.

The suggested speaking honorarium policy:

For-profit company: $2,500 - $1,000 (depending on size)

Large or Mid-Sized (NGO / community partner / academic institution): $500

Small (NGO / community partner / other): $250
